The annual Hunter Valley Steamfest Great Train Race, run between Waratah (near Newcastle) & Maitland.
The 2025 race was between steam locomotives 3265 "Hunter" and 3526 "The Nanny".
This video is of the trip behind steam loco 3526 as it travels from Maitland to the race start - this video covers the run between Maitland's Victoria Street station to just past Waratah.
This video captured with a GoPro camera attached to the window of my carriage.
