Part 2 will be coming soon. Some locations were in state parks which are closed currently due to the Coronavirus, but I will get to those eventually. The fates vary by each city, but it goes as follows.
Poles in San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente that had power lines on them remained to support the existing power lines.
Poles with street lights remained to support the lights, but had the top part of the pole cut.
Poles in Dana Point had 7 out of the 8 poles kept for new sirens in the future, but for some reason, 3 poles (DP-01, 02 and 03) were cut too much to mount a siren, unless they will be putting new poles somewhere else, or the contractors screwed up by cutting too much pole off, and Dana Point would have to replace the pole. And I believe DP-04 was the location intended to be removed entirely. Another weird thing in Dana Point is locations DP-06, 07, and 08 still have the cabinet on the pole, where as DP-05 had its cabinet removed. The other cities should’ve kept them for other emergencies just like what Dana Point is doing.
