Amritsar Police Takes High-Tech Approach, Monitoring Kite Flying with Chinese Thread Using Drones

Описание: Amritsar police have launched a high-tech initiative to monitor kite flying with Chinese thread using drones. The surveillance covers a 14-kilometer radius, and if children are caught flying kites with Chinese thread, their parents will face legal action. Over 500 bundles of Chinese thread have already been seized with the help of drones. The police are also targeting vendors involved in the sale or storage of Chinese thread. ACP Jaspal Singh emphasized that strict measures are being enforced, including daily drone surveillance of rooftops during the festive season. Children and youth found flying kites with Chinese thread are recorded on camera, and their parents are summoned to the police station, warned, and informed about potential legal consequences for future violations. The public is urged to use traditional thread to ensure safety for both humans and wildlife.
