Today we went to the village vegetable farm and harvested tomatoes, okra, and green peppers. The weather in the Ilam region is very hot these days. One of the hardest jobs for rural women in the Ilam region is harvesting vegetables from the village farm. Due to the high heat and the distance of the farm from water sources, working in the fields is very difficult and tiring for women, however, we are very interested in picking and using the organic products of our farm.
