Well, after a number of outings chasing wild brown trout, it was high time I tried to catch some Ladies of the Stream - our beautiful grayling.
A few newer patterns to try out: A Wally Wing CDC with peacock herl body and a small spangly butt. Worked a treat as did my F-Fly variant.
Got to chatting to a fellow angler and while distracted, missed about three or four other takes... 😔👎🎣 Still, as long as you can laugh at yourself... right!? 😉👌
