The All Progressives Congress in Delta State conducts its Local Government Area Congress across the 25 council areas, with executives emerging through consensus in a peaceful exercise.
The congress records impressive turnout and is monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, security agencies, party leaders and the media.
Members of the APC National Committee assigned to Delta express satisfaction with the orderly conduct of the exercise after monitoring activities across the three senatorial districts.
In several local government areas including Oshimili South, Uvwie, Isoko North, Isoko South, Ughelli North, Ughelli South, Ika North-East, Ethiope West and Ethiope East, new executives emerge through affirmation and consensus.
Party leaders commend members for maintaining unity and discipline, expressing confidence that the newly elected executives will strengthen the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
