Описание: In Aurora, the wife of a local pastor lost $58,000 after receiving a phone call that appeared to come from Chase Bank security. The caller warned of a fraudulent $2,000 transfer through Zelle and instructed her to complete a so-called “wire reversal” to stop the theft. Believing she was protecting her accounts, she authorized multiple transfers from both business and personal savings. The money was gone within minutes. The bank later stated it would never ask customers to send money to prevent fraud. An internal investigation is ongoing.
