Bathgate Hills Venture were delighted to win funding from the Year of Stories 2022 to host a storytelling day. This was an excellent opportunity to reveal the stories of the Bathgate Hills in all forms, told through the voices of all generations.
The day included a range of storytelling events including a children's story telling competition, a foraging walk in the hills, an afternoon sharing stories, and an evening of entertainment where some of the legendary stories were retold on stage.
Here you can hear David Colman's story of his family's Silver Man encounter, shared during our afternoon event at the Reconnect Regal Theatre.
