This 2005 Subaru Forester is a fantastic snow car, except it has one DANGEROUS problem:
The engine refuses to IDLE DOWN, racing to 3k rpm on its own!
Owner says he has burned through two sets of brake pads going down his 20% grade in the West Virginia mountains because the car cannot engine-brake!
Over the last 6 months it has been to the shop several times and the PARTS CANNON has been unleashed: throttle body, ECM, sensors...you name it.
