Happy Birthday, STL! Today was 25 years since "Slime Time Live" first graced the screens with its iconic slime, pies, and mess. In celebration, here are some segments from an episode celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando Florida, which aired in early June of 2000. It features rare time-lapse footage of Nick Studios being constructed.
Nickelodeon Studios created some of the most iconic shows, from live programs to sitcoms to cartoons, which built Nickelodeon up into one of the most recognizable brands in kids' entertainment. Despite its amazing output and success, Nickelodeon Studios would only last around 15 years, before executives decided to close up the Florida-based studios and move to Hollywood, California. But many fans and viewers will fondly remember the Orlando years as the best, unsurpassed by anything made in later years.
