Описание: ✨New✨ lyre song! I call this or Chūntiān de gē (春天的歌) or Song of Spring! In honor of my Chinese ancestry and the upcoming Chinese New Year.

THE STORY:
The higher notes were really calling out to me so I made that the focal point. I was just going with my feelings—I didn’t really have a conscious thought or idea. I just went with what felt right in this improv.

Personally, hearing it all together now, the song reminds me of little saplings 🌱 growing under warm sunlight ☀️ Slow and steady now (repetition in the 1st verse)... and then they blossom (that oriental sounding harmony) 🌸 And then the forest is teeming with life! (Ending verse). What a beautiful forest of so much beauty and life! 🦋

Last time, for the 30daysofgratitude challenge, I made a lyre song to go with the selflove guided meditation. It was the first time I release something playing two-handed. I wanted to make another song as a way to mark my progress with the lyre. This time, I’m using a King David #waltertkinnorharp or #10stringlyre.

The string spacing on this is much smaller than my other lyres, so it was a challenge but I’m proud of the outcome!
