Simplifying Industrial Data Access in Python
If you’ve ever needed to pull live or historical industrial data into a Python application and immediately run into protocol complexity, legacy systems, or brittle integrations, this session is for you. Through live, working demos, we’ll show Python interacting directly with real industrial data via OPC Expert—reading real-time values, querying history, and writing setpoints using a REST API that exposes OPC Classic (DA/HDA), OPC UA, MQTT, and Modbus data as clean JSON.
The session stays focused on how things actually behave in practice. You’ll see OPC Expert running live between industrial protocols and Python, automatic Python code generation in action, and common integration patterns such as polling vs. event-driven access and safe write operations.
