BAFTA-winning production studio Platige Image contributed the VFX work for the latest campaign for Versace’s Bright Crystal fragrance line, with contributions primarily centered on compositing the VFX work into the set decorations developed by director Gordon von Steiner. This included work to insert CGI into a space built out of a multitude of mirrors
In post, Platige handled VFX for three pivotal scenes, including the initial scene involving a mirror, where actress Lily James interacts with a mysterious liquid that acts as a portal to an alternate reality. The second scene depicts the camera descending through various rooms, a sequence developed from concept to execution. Platige seamlessly integrated the scene between the preceding and following shots. The final element focused on a camera fly-through of a ventilation tunnel featuring crystals reminiscent of the advertised perfume's name, along with the Versace Bright Crystal bottle itself.
