New Years Painting Resolutions, #5: Push - Friday, Week 48 (08/01/2021)

Описание: Today is our last day of our Painting Resolutions Week, and what better aspect to remind ourselves to work through this year than PUSH. To stretch towards the painters that we want to be. Now, in my case, I perhaps sprinkled a bit too much of Ashley Wood in today's recipe, but he's an unquestionable hero of mine when it comes to simplicity, boldness and gesture both in drawing and in painting. I took today's opportunity to do a painting of a wonderful painter that I was supposed to paint maaany years ago as part of the Death of a Co-worker project. Emilio is an awesome dude and a pretty good skateboarder (which coincidentally I know absolutely nothing about). Since Emilio was one of the few painters I didn't get around to paint, I wanted to give it a shot. Lots of Love, hope everyone has an amazing weekend!
