Описание: Join me for a winter walk through downtown Toronto, starting at Sankofa Square and ending at the historic Fairmont Royal York Hotel.

This walk begins at Sankofa Square, formerly known as Yonge-Dundas Square, one of Toronto’s most energetic and recognizable public spaces. From there, I head west along Dundas Street West, passing shops, theatres, and everyday downtown street life.

Turning south onto Bay Street, the walk passes by Toronto City Hall (Old and New) and the iconic Nathan Phillips Square — home of the famous Toronto sign and a central gathering place in the city. From here, the route continues through Toronto’s Financial District, where office towers, banks, and PATH entrances define the business heart of downtown.

Continuing south, the walk transitions onto Front Street West near Union Station, one of Canada’s busiest transportation hubs and a key landmark connecting transit, business, and tourism.

The walk finishes at the iconic Fairmont Royal York Hotel, a historic luxury landmark across from Union Station and one of Toronto’s most recognizable heritage buildings.
