Working conditions of domestic workers reveal their survival challenges

Описание: Domestic worker platform, Sweepsouth has released the findings of its latest survey on the working conditions and earnings of domestic workers in South Africa. It found that while the domestic worker's national minimum wage is currently set at R4,400, the reality is that, on average, female domestic workers are paid R3,349 per month. And with the cost of living so high for ordinary South Africans, this poses survival challenges for these workers.
