Often in the design process there is a need to have a reference profile above or below the surface grade. For instance in designing channels/ditches or water main, you may desire to have a reference profile shown below the surface profile as a guide in creating a new profile or piping. Civil3D has the capability to copy a surface profile and raise/lower it; however, the process can be involved with many profiles by having to change the surface profile to static, make the copy, reset the original back to dynamic and finally lowering the copied profile. This command automates that process.
This plugin application works great for guiding the design of utilities that have to be a specific value under the existing profile, for channels or ditches that need to be designed at a specific depth below the existing profile, and more.
