DAY ONE OF OUR TASSIE TRIP AND BEAUTIFUL BINGARA BEACH FREE CAMP

Описание: Day one we did’nt even get out of the house yard as i sideswiped the towing mirror on the gate post. 1 hour later I almost took out a small awning at a service station in Dalby. Morning tea was at the dog park in Cecil Plains where someone forgot to latch the fridge door, it was discovered a couple of hours later when we stopped for lunch, only 1/2 a tub of yoghurt lost. Sorry no content was made during the trip to Bingara as we decided to punch straight through. 35-37 degrees for most of the drive and way too hot for camping. We finally found a very pretty campsite right on the Gwydir river “selected specially for Missy”, did a quick setup ,enjoyed some well earned beverages whilst watching the river flow by. Day 2 saw us doing a couple of short walks, back to Vera where we discovered disaster 4. No water and no 12 volt power. It was traced back to 2 faulty 24-12 volt stepdown units ,for now we are pulling power from the Tug. We are finally fully relaxed and ready for a few more days just Chilling. We did the town tour of Lovely Bingara on day 3, Had a few bevvys and lunch at the Imperial hotel, Missy met a heap of very friendlylocals and enjoyed heaps of pats and cuddles. Had a quick look at the town camp.The Lookout was the next port of call where we videod the drive down “very steep”. Then a tour trough the campsites on the south side of town. The 3 of us have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Missy gives a big thanks to Bingara for letting her have at least a hundred swims .
