Hello everyone and welcome to my channel.
In this video, I am presenting my fully designed and tested Regulated Half Bridge SMPS built for high-power audio amplifier applications.
This SMPS is capable of delivering dual rail outputs including 57-0-57V on the final PCB design, and 40-0-40V / 64-0-64V during modular testing configurations.
Key Features:
• Regulated half-bridge topology
• Stable dual rail output
• Designed for high power Class AB amplifiers
• Modular design (EMI, bridge, PWM, transformer, output sections)
• Final integrated PCB version
• Heavy load testing up to ~2000 watts
• Near zero voltage drop under high load
• Proper dead time control and optimized switching frequency
• Designed considering MOSFET selection, transformer core size, winding gauge, and duty cycle control
The PCBs were designed in EasyEDA and manufactured locally in Pakistan.
This project demonstrates how proper design choices such as switching frequency, transformer design, dead time optimization, and component selection directly affect load handling capability and regulation performance.
