On July 21, Guns N' Roses announced that they had tapped Mark Ronson to produce three new tracks for an upcoming 35th-anniversary edition of their debut album, "Appetite for Destruction." In a recent NME interview, Ronson said, "I'm beyond excited to be getting the original lineup of GNR back together to reinterpret their classic songs for a whole new generation of fans. I intend to record the legendary band the only way I know how: using my vast collection of vintage microphones, state-of-the-art digital technology, and, of course, adding Bruno Mars as lead vocalist and myself as a funky yet tasteful rhythm guitarist." Songs set to be rerecorded are "Welcome to Uptown Funk," "Sweet Child O' Mars," and "Locked Out of a Brownstone."
