When setting up the interview with the Church of Tomorrow, the self described performance art/style cult before they presented "All Tomorrow's Parties (An Andy Warhol Experience, I tried to get an idea of how to explain what the "Church of Tomorrow" actually was.
Mark Steffan, who is half of the duo that makes up the Church of Tomorrow, told me :"Our motto is that "we do things" we will take on any project anyone gives us with an underground flair. ... We explore taboos in modern culture"
Friday April 26th the Church was presenting a tribute to Andy Warhol that would include Velvet Underground by the Omaha band Hers at the House of Loom. Steffan told me that him and his partner in the church, Nicholas Wasserberger would be "covering Loom in 2,000 ft of tin foil."
To find out why I sat down with Steffan and Wasserberger in the middle of hour four of their frantic foiling of the House of Loom.
