Galeon Analucia visit to Liverpool

The Galleon Andalucía is a reproduction of a 17th-century six-deck Spanish galleon designed and built by Ignacio Fernández Vial. It was sponsored and built by the Junta de Andalucía and the Nao Victoria Foundation with the aim of promoting the Guadalquivir River of History project, to remain next to the Spanish Pavilion during the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and to become an ambassador for the autonomous community of Andalusia. In addition, its voyage served to sign various agreements with several Andalusian universities, with that of Barcelona and with the University of Liverpool for the realization of various studies. It has also received the Gran Velero award from the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation.
