Fly into one of the most remote and extreme regions on Earth in this long-range business jet flight, aboard the Cessna Citation Longitude.
This journey departs Nuuk International Airport (BGGH) in Greenland and heads deep into the High Arctic to Alert Airport (CYLT) in Nunavut, Canada — one of the northernmost permanently inhabited places on the planet.
Surrounded by ice, ocean, and endless tundra, this route pushes both aircraft and pilot into true polar territory.
The route traverses polar airspace, requiring careful consideration of navigation accuracy, fuel planning, alternates, cold-temperature performance, and extended overwater/remote operations. Due to extreme latitude, this flight highlights challenges such as limited ground-based navaids, long-distance RNAV navigation, magnetic unreliability, and sparse diversion options.

The left PFD seems to ‘reset,’ and sometimes it changes direction on the map. If any friend who uses the Longitude has noticed something similar, please write in the comments so I know it’s not just happening to me
