This is a hack for Castlevania 1. It features:

Fully edited level design
Better looking usage of the original game’s levels graphics
More appealing and fitting colors
Infinite lives
No loss of the Whip Power and Subweapons when the player die
Lower pitch musics
Less candles overall, but with more of what you actually need
No knife candles
Modified boss fights, focusing on edits on the original ones to make them more fair and reasonable to fight, with some surprises here and there.
The player takes less damage overall (2 of damage on stage 1 and 2, and 3 of damage past stage 3)
More reasonable, fair, engaging and fun difficulty overall.
New types of hidden locations for double/triple shots and Meats.
