Liege Lord is a legendary heavy metal band from Connecticut. They started in the early 80s, released three great records, and broke up in 1990. The band was resurrected in 2012 for live appearances, but continued to work on brand new material. At this point there are new songs, and the group is planning a new record. In the last two years, guitarist, Paul Nelson, and bassist, Matt Vinci, had passed away. Currently, Liege Lord is playing tribute shows to the fallen band members.
Guitarist, Anthony Truglio, talks about the history of the band, and gives some serious hints about the future.
The interview was conducted by Mark Kadzielawa, at the Crucible, in Madison, Wisconsin, on August 31, 2024.
