Описание: READ ALONG TO PRACTICE YOUR ENGLISH AND TO LEARN THE MEANING OF BARGAIN HUNTING: So in English, when you go bargain hunting, it means that you are looking for things to buy that are on sale. Today is Boxing Day in Canada. Boxing Day is the day after Christmas, and it is one of the best days to find bargains, if you are shopping in Canada. Bargains are when things are on sale, when the price is reduced. People go shopping on Boxing Day because usually, every store has sales on a lot of things in the store, maybe 10% off, maybe 30% off. If you're lucky, 50 or 70% off. That's usually what I look for. I love the sales where it is 70 or 80% off, because Bob the Canadian is kind of a cheapskate. That's someone who doesn't like to spend money. So I like to go bargain hunting, but the bargains have to be really, really good.

When people shop a lot, sometimes we will say, you shop 'til you drop. When you shop 'til you drop, it means you go out early in the morning and you shop all day, and you buy a lot of things. When we say you shop 'til you drop, you don't actually fall over unconscious because you're tired from shopping. But it does mean a really, really long day of shopping. I don't usually shop 'til I drop. I'm not a really good shopper. I actually don't like going to too many stores in a row. I'm the kind of shopper where I like to think of what I need, go to the store and buy it, hopefully it's a bargain, and then go straight home.
