Our forklift stopped running, no gas / propane was getting to the engine. So after years of sitting, the regulator and or evaporator stopped working.
Trying to get a technician out to fix it was more of a hassle that expected, so I figured I could just replace it, how hard could it be?
They had the parts on amazon for under $150 for both the IMPCO regulator and IMPCO evaporator. The service people told me they would basically fit any forklift as a replacement.
It really isn't much more complicated than a BBQ regulator.
Just make sure you pay attention, take it apart slowly and put it back together the same way and anyone can do this very simple repair.
