1️⃣ Mac & Cheese? Never heard of it. 😅 Living in Italy, our daughter eats real pasta (sorry to sound so pretentious). So when American friends ask if she loves mac & cheese, we have to explain that it’s just not a thing here. And honestly, she might not even like it!
2️⃣ She corrects our Italian. 🇮🇹 As parents learning a new language, we still make mistakes. But our daughter? Fluent and confident. Whether it’s pronunciation, grammar, or slang, she’s quick to remind us how things should be said. It's humbling and impressive.
3️⃣ Holiday planning is a logistical nightmare. 🎄 With family spread across Europe, the U.S., and even Asia, choosing where to spend Christmas (or any major holiday) is tough. No matter what we decide, someone will be disappointed. We love having roots in multiple cultures, but sometimes, we wish there weren’t big expectations.
