Shen Yun Performing Arts received a thunderous, enduring applause from the audience at the Sangmyung Art Center in Seoul, South Korea on April 15.

After the show an expert on Korean Royal Cuisine expressed her feelings about Shen Yun's performance.

"It's very sad that I can see this wonderful performance only one time. I felt that I got a lot of peony blossoms from Shen Yun performing Arts. It showed historic stories to us in such a beautiful way. The harmony of the dancing and the backgrounds was like a new world, at the same time it was harmony of traditional arts and modern arts. I had an glorious impression from it."


With an acting career spanning 47 years, Junggil Lee is no stranger to excellent performances and found Shen Yun breathtaking.

"It's so meaningful to see various styles of Chinese traditional dances intensively within 2 hours. The combination of dancing and high level skill was like a picture by a master painter. I was lost in admiration for this performance.(It was breathtaking.) I hope that artists from every field see this performance as well as traditional artists. I am so happy to see this performance."

Shen Yun presents traditional Chinese culture live on stage.

"It was worthwhile that through the various Chinese traditional dancing, I could learn Chinese history. It was like seeing the real Mainland China."


Shen Yun hails from New York and will finish its tour of Korea with a final performance on April 16. The company's next stop on its Asian tour is Japan.
