During the last few days I was building the tiny PSU into the Panasonic FS-A1 MKII MSX2 computer. That appeared to be a bit more challenging than I originally anticipated. The problem lied in the differences between A1 and A1 MKII models. In particular, the radiator in MKII is positioned slightly differently and has a different shape, so it had to be trimmed in order for the board to fit in. Some of electrolytic capacitors that had to be removed to free space for the PSU had to be replaced with SMD capacitors because those were required for the RGB output.
The same 3D printed parts were used for this mod as for A1 mod, so no additional work and materials was needed. The PSU fits well under the keyboard's backplate and has enough room for ventilation.
The project will be released at some point in 2025 as open-source with all necessary files and instructions.
