Panerai's history has come into question and someone needs to set the record straight. Could the story make for a Netflix Documentary? Vacheron Constantin is considered part of the Holy Trinity and yet, the brand is not as highly recognized as some others. Richard Mille on the other hand doesn't compare (and is not part of the Holy Trinity of watches) and yet it's one of the most recognizable Swiss luxury watch brands today. Vacheron has taken the conservative route in regards to their marketing efforts but that is perhaps exactly what they need to change in order to transform their image in the eyes of the consumer.
