The central government has taken a major and surprising decision regarding NEET PG 2025. The government has significantly lowered the qualifying cut-off. This decision paves the way for filling more than 9,000 vacant postgraduate seats in medical colleges across the country. This step comes at a time when there is a severe shortage of doctors in the country. The government argues that a large portion of training capacity is wasted every year, which increases the pressure on hospitals. Government medical colleges and teaching hospitals are particularly affected.
केंद्र सरकार ने NEET PG 2025 को लेकर एक बडा और चौंकाने वाला फैसला लिया। सरकार ने क्वालिफाइंग कट ऑफ को काफी नीचे कर दिया। इस फैसले से देशभर के मेडिकल कॉलेजों में खाली पडी करीब 9 हजार से ज्यादा PG सीटों को भरने का रास्ता साफ हो गया है। यह कदम ऐसे वक्त पर उठाया गया है, जब देश में डॉक्टरों की भारी कमी बनी हुई है। सरकार का तर्क है कि ट्रेनिंग क्षमता का एक बडा हिस्सा हर साल बर्बाद हो जाता है। इससे अस्पतालों पर दबाव बढता है। खासकर सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज और टीचिंग हॉस्पिटल सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित होते हैं।
