Описание: Maruti Suzuki will facelift the Ertiga again to keep it fresh. The new model will be showcased at the Auto Expo in February 2018. There is no concrete information on what the Ertiga facelift will get, and the following details of the MUV are based on speculation/expectation. What we do know, for certain, however, is that with this facelift the Ertiga will be promoted to the Nexa showrooms.
In terms of exterior features, the new Ertiga is expected to get projector headlamps, LED DRLs and LED taillamps. The biggest rumour is that the new Ertiga will get major design updates to make it look more ‘rugged’. Whether these will be limited to additional body cladding or actual changes to the sheet metal remains to be seen.
Inside, the Ertiga facelift should continue to feature the all-beige bright interior theme. Design changes here will be limited to the use of better materials for the seats and door panels. The Ertiga already gets Maruti’s SmartPlay infotainment system; the new car will now get Android Auto as standard apart from the Apple CarPlay connectivity option.
Engine options are expected to remain the same; the 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged DDiS200 diesel engine developing 88PS/200Nm and the 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder VVT petrol engine developing 91PS/130Nm will be carried over, with minor tweaks made for better driveability. Both the engines are very efficient anyway - the diesel returns 24.52kmpl and the petrol returns 17.50kmpl (MT) and 17.03kmpl (AT). Maruti could offer the new Ertiga with a better automatic transmission for the petrol engine than the current 4-speed unit.
