Microwave Steam Clean Button | Does it Work?

Описание: Does your microwave have a steam clean button? I have a GE Profile microwave that has one but I've never used it - until now. I wanted to find out how it works and how well it cleans the microwave. The results aren't quite what I expected.

Put 1/4 cup water into the microwave and push the steam clean button on the microwave. Follow the directions on the screen, then wipe out the microwave.

I look for a microwave that is grey or black interior so it doesn't show messes or burns. I prefer a button to a handle to open the microwave because I pulled on the handle of our last microwave and it broke off! Look for a microwave with less grooves and places to clean.

I tried eggs, pizza and marinara sauce. The glass is the hardest to clean because it captures a lot of splatters and messes.

There are so many features of appliances that we never use and I encourage you to try out something. We buy microwaves that are fancy and then proceed to use the same buttons over and over (start, pause, etc).
