Days of Future Past - DBZ Trailer

This retelling of the X-Men Days of Future Past trailer with Dragon Ball Z is something I thought of while getting familiar with the classic Days of Future Past comic from back in the day. I wanted to share with you guys and get your thoughts on.

I wanted to make a tear jerker, wanted people who watched this video to see it from Trunks' point of view, and why he so badly needs to save the past to fix our ugly future. I feel like I did.

While going through DOFP I saw a lot of similarity in the comic to Mirai Trunks' story. The comic Days of Future Past is similar to the DBZ special History of Trunks in many ways, and battles with the traditional idea that decisions made in the past should not be intervened from the future.

Kitty Pride and Trunks Brief change their past and their destiny for the better with their abilities. Both stories beg the question, though... Is the natural course that evil should win, and the victory of good is merely cheating fate? We say good should win and evil should lose, but only if it happens naturally. What if it doesn't? Doesn't DOFP and DBZ seem to suggest it won't if we don't do something about it?

With that thought, I ask, what's the right way? Letting nature run its course, or changing our future to our own liking?
