To celebrate the inaugural anniversary of the Thousand Buddha Temple, the world-wide sangha is invited to these very special events. The Recitation of the Collected Words of the Buddha is a profoundly meritorious event, made even more powerful as it takes place in Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha, and begins on Lhabab Düchen, the great festival day commemorating the Buddha Śākyamuni’s return to earth from the heavenly realms.
The recitations will be conducted simultaneously in multiple languages, including Pali, Chinese, Tibetan, and English. Participation in the recitation will be made possible for readers of all languages into which the seminar is translated.
There will be three recitation sessions each day until the entire recitation is complete, as well as a daily teaching session.
