In the book I presented you in the second video of this series there are drawings of Dorade’s 1931 deck and accommodation plan by Robbert Das.
By comparing some details of this drawing with the actual photos of the 1930s you can find some discrepancies. The lower deck in fact which houses the tiller lock is not made of linear plank in the Robbert Das drawings but instead there is a wooden grate. In this case Amati’s plans seems pretty accurate to me. Do you have any evidence Das’ representation is correct? In the the book Dorade: history of a racing yacht there are no real evidence of that.
