Описание: This Southern Botany Bay Plantation on Edisto Island, SC is a hidden gem in South Carolina. It's not just any old plantation- it has been meticulously preserved to maintain the beauty of its original plantation and landscape. I share with you all the amazing features that make this property worth your time and attention and maybe visit if you're in South Carolina. It's an amazing driving tour of the historic plantation to see the remains of the main house and carriage house, plus the fields, remaining slave quarters that caught fire, lakes, ponds, wildlife, and natural habitats. I was able to get my van through the entire driving tour. A little bumpy for this van life travel vlog, but not too bad. I don't think I'd take a Class C RV or Class A down the roads though.

So much of the plantation is gone, but there are still some very cool things to see and do and the driving tour is just amazing with the old-growth live oak trees blanketing the road, and the farms, untouched beach with driftwood, and some of the old buildings left after it was burned during the Civil War.
