What's word salad? It's when they throw anything and everything into a discussion.

Why do they do it?
1. It's a distraction technique. It's smoke and mirrors. It diverts attention away from the subject at hand.
2. It frustrates you. When you're frustrated/overwhelmed/at your wit's end, you're easy to control. (And that's the goal!)
3. It triggers you. You will get to the point where even at the slightest sign of word salad, you'll become outraged. This is how they make you look crazy!
4. It's how they get away with never committing to a solution. They want the argument to go on and on. A resolution serves them no purpose. Because then you'd have no reason to continue to engage with them. And then they lose control of you.
