It is reported that Sammy will add 200 extra mAh the battery capacity of the S23 and S23 Plus. The company will also add Light mode to the series. Don't worry, it's not a light variant. This mode prioritizes battery life and running cool over absolute performance. According to Ice Universe the drop in performance will be moderate while the reduction of battery usage will be significant. Ice also added that Light Model will not affect performance in games as the performance profile for them will continue to be controlled from the separate Game Booster settings as it is right now. Also, during their Q4 earnings call, Qualcomm confirmed that all models will only use the upcoming flagship Snapdragon chipset. Just wrap, Korean media is already stating that the Galaxy S23 announcment will happen on the first week of February, pretty much like last time.
