THDC India Limited (THDCIL) observed its 34th Foundation Day. Sh. Vijay Goel, Chairman & Managing Director hoisted THDCIL flag at Corporate Office Rishikesh in the presence of Sh. J. Behera, Director (Finance), Sh. B. P. Gupta, CVO, Sh. Veer Singh, GM (HR) and other officers of the Corporation. It is to mention that on 12th July 1988 THDC India Limited erstwhile Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited was incorporated as a CPSE.
Today, THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1587 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam & HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400MW) in Uttarakhand, Wind Power Projects of 50MW at Patan & 63MW at Dwarka in Gujarat, 24MW Dhukwan Small Hydro Project, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and 50 MW Solar Power Project at Kasaragod, Kerala to its credit.
