Here are 4 tips for taking trains in Europe~
1. Check to see which car you're in and try to stand where it'll be on the platform.
2. See if you have to validate your ticket ahead of time or if it'll get checked with your ID on the train.
3. This seems obvious but it felt weird when I first started taking the train. It doesn't wait for you like a plane might so be early in case the train station is confusing.
4. Keep your valuables on you; not even overhead. I've had people get their stuff stolen even when it was RIGHT above their head.
