Winter searching at the landfill is an extreme challenge: hands freeze, snow hides finds, you have to dig through frozen bags. The beginning promised luck: immediately found batteries, a charger, computer parts with gold inside, hair clippers. All of this has value for resale or repurposing. Then came copper wires, a toy car for collectors, warm clothes in excellent condition.
