Just purchased the maxxis minions and put them on a test ride. Immediately felt a difference just pedaling out on the street. They have more rolling resistance so climbs are a bit tougher but it definitely makes up for the amount of grip it gets on the downhill. Definite confidence booster on the turns! Only have a couple miles but just wanted to make a video on my first initial thoughts. Feels like the front will never loose traction 99,99% of the time. Very good set of tires and much better than the stock shwalbes, especially on the loose California dirt.
