The Cabin is Mid Ship but it is closer to the front or the Bow elevators. From the video yes there was a service door across from my cabin. Staircase and elevators. I saw it open 3 times during my 14-day cruise. Was not a problem, the only other issue was about this cabin there is a wastewater drain pipe (I believe from the hot tubs on Deck 17th) not on my balcony but on my neighbour's balcony. So you sometimes hear water running down the pipe when you are on the balcony. If you have the door closed you will not hear it from inside the cabin. Above me on deck 15 is another cabin so I had no issue of noise. But if you book a cabin nearer to the front (bow) of the ship. Deck 15 forward is the Observation Deck so it might be noisier from people walking on the roof of your cabin. The after-dark dance parties are usually on Deck 17 in Spice H20 which is at the back of the ship. There were 2 dance parties on the main sundeck Deck 16 and yes you could hear the music from my cabin.

A nice upgrade from a mid-ship balcony cabin on the NCL Epic. More room and a washroom with a real door.
