Out of the hundreds of waterfalls in Bali, which are the top ones? This video is definitely for you if you want to explore the best waterfalls in Bali. Munduk village is a perfect region in Bali to explore waterfalls. From our villa, we hired two bikes to go straight to the Munduk Waterfall Trek. They dropped us right at the Munduk waterfall parking.
After a short hike of 15 minutes, we arrived at the Red Coral Waterfall which is a narrow waterfall that streams down between the hillside rocks with greenery surrounding it in all directions.
From the Red Coral Waterfall, we hiked another 30 minutes through the jungle and 10 minutes of stairs down the slopes to arrive at the Lebuhaan Kebo waterfall. At the bottom of the valley, we were welcomed to the waterfall out in the distance with a couple of bamboo bridges. The stream forms into a pool before running further down the valley.
A steep downhill hike from Lebuhaan Kebo waterfall through clove plantations for an hour and another 10 mins hike down a steep staircase took us to Laangan Melanting Waterfall. Melanting is located in a very pristine picturesque valley circled by green slopes.
Next, we went to the tallest waterfall in Bali. After an hour drive from our villa in Munduk, we arrived at the Sekumpul & Fiji Waterfall. Beware of the scam registration points along the way. Just drive direct to the waterfall. Sekumpul is the tallest waterfall in Bali. The height of Sekumpul Waterfall is around 80 meters. We would highly recommend taking dip at the natural pool. Just be careful of the rocky floor!
Just 5 mins walk from the Sekumpul Waterfall is the Secret Waterfall which is quite furious in nature.
Another 15 mins walk from the Secret Waterfall through streams took us to the Fiji Waterfall. Sekumpul & Fiji waterfall was our second favorite waterfall in Bali.
Our favorite waterfall in Bali is Tukad Cepung Waterfall.
After an hour ride from Ubud and a steep hike of 10 minutes, we arrived at the floor of a valley. Then we walked through a passage between the cliffs with a sandy water floor. After a final narrow passage between rock formations, we arrive at a open dome which led us to the Tukad Cepung Waterfall. The circular cliffs give you the feeling of being in a cave, while the open sky right from where the waterfall emerges, gives you the most enchanting view. We would definitely recommend you to go inside the waterfall.
