Bengal Political Drama: BJP targets Mukul Roy after return to TMC

Описание: Days after Mukul Roy left the BJP and return to Trinamool Congress, Suvendu Adhikari has threatened to take action under the anti-defection law against Roy, if he does not resign from his MLA seat in Krishna Nagar. Mukul Roy had bagged the seat in the recent assembly election after contesting on a BJP ticket. Suvendu Adhikari said he will approach the speaker if the resignation does not come by Wednesday. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress has taunted the BJP alleging that 24 of their MLA were missing at the recent BJP Meeting. Also West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee last week stated that more defectors will join TMC in the coming days.
