Dr. Tim Nicholl gives an overview of Corrective Chiropractic Care's approach. The approach taken at Maximize Chiropractic is focused on corrective functional and structural problems in the spine. Unlike pain based / insurance based care which ignores the underlying cause, corrective care identifies and corrects the underlying cause of the problem.
The 1st 90 days of Care focuses on restoring motion. A post x-ray is taken to assess improvements and determine where the body needs extra attention to.
The 2nd part of care, generally 6-12 months duration, focuses on restoring the structure of the spine. Once the 2nd phase of care is complete most members reach their corrective potential; which means no more changes will be seen with the pursuit of care.
The purpose of this approach is to correct the underlying cause, not to maintaining a progressively degenerating spine, but to correct and reverse negative changes.
