I have bought these Dali Oberon 5 on Christmas Sale for just under 400 euro.
A lot of people were recommending these, and i must say: I am not disappointed...on the contrary!!!
I´ve had different B&W speakers for the longest time, but i have grown a bit tired of the very "forward" sound profil.
My Audiolab 9000 amplifier turns out to be great match up with the Oberon 5´s.
A clean and detailed sound and great dynamics. More laid back in the midrange as well.
As you can see, I have a living room setup...no audiophile "walk-in closet".
The speakers integrate very well with the room accoustics.
I have recorded the last part of "Private Investigations" by Dire Straits to give you a picture af the details and dynamics as best as i can record them.
