What I Wish I Knew Before Getting Tattoos

Описание: Another thing to consider with tattoos is your career, I’ve been forced to cover tattoos in management roles and I have been unconsidered for specific jobs because of my tattoos and stretched ears.

Moving forward, I am on a journey to improving my tattoos to a point of liking ALL of the permanent accessories on my body. At this stage, I don’t like most of my tattoos and it’s contributing to my negative self talk lately…

I always believed we are more than our physical body but what we look at in the mirror daily, can affect our confidence and if there’s something that we can change/ improve to our own personal standards, I do believe it can change our internal perception of ourselves too and increase emotional security.

That being said, any body modifications, plastic surgery, hair styles and even clothing, they do not make up who we are, they are external expressions. Loving yourself is skin deep, and the path to self acceptance can be creative and constructive as equally destructive and over critical. Practice what makes you happy and consider all the pros and cons for changing your appearance.

Experiment, but not with tattoos… 😝
